Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Let Us Fix It (“us,” “we,” or “our”) owns and operates this website (https://letusfixitt.com). The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of this website. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information we receive from you online, during device repairs, or in our shop.

Information We Collect

Information you give us through our forms. We collect the information you type into the forms on our website:

  • Request a Repair (quote) form: your full name, phone number, and email address (optional); how you’d like to receive your quote (text, call, or email); your device type, brand, and model; what’s wrong with the device; the service type you choose (in-store or home service); your preferred date and time; any notes you add; and any photos of the damage you choose to upload (up to 3 images). If you choose home service, we will ask for your address when we contact you to confirm the appointment. Home service is available only for batteries, screens, and IT support.
  • Sell form: your name, email address, phone number, address, device type, device model, and any device photo you upload.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, your message, your agreement to this Privacy Policy, and, only if you check the box, your consent to receive marketing texts and emails.

Please don’t include passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in form fields or photos.

Information collected in our shop. When you bring in a device, we may record your name, contact details, device details, the repair requested, and repair and payment records.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its service providers automatically receive information your browser sends when you visit (“Log Data”), such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, the website that referred you, and approximate location (city/region) based on your IP address. Some of this is collected through cookies, as described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your questions and send you the quote you requested;
  • schedule and perform repairs, including home service appointments, and evaluate devices you offer to sell;
  • contact you about your request, repair status, pickup, invoices, and warranty;
  • send marketing texts or emails, only if you opted in;
  • operate, secure, and improve our website and services, and measure how well our website and advertising work; and
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Text Messages and Marketing

If you send us a request with your phone number, we may call or text you about that request (for example, to send your quote or confirm an appointment). We send recurring promotional or marketing texts and emails only if you check the optional marketing consent box. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies, Google Analytics, and Google Ads

Our website uses the Google tag (ID GT-NBPRP76), installed through Google’s Site Kit plugin, for Google Analytics and Google Ads. The Google tag uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how you interact with the site, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and whether you arrived from or completed an action after clicking one of our ads. We use this information to understand how visitors use our website and to measure and improve our advertising. Google may use this information as described in “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can control cookies in several ways:

Our pages also display Google reviews through a third-party widget (Trustindex), which loads files and reviewer profile images from Trustindex and Google servers, so those providers receive your IP address and browser information. Links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to Google Maps take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Do Not Track. Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Preexisting Device Data

During repair or testing, Let Us Fix It does not intentionally access, copy, or share personal data stored on your device. Some repairs require us to test device functions (for example, turning the device on, checking the touchscreen, camera, or login screen), and we may ask for your passcode only if a test requires it. We do not use any access to view, edit, or distribute your personal data. We recommend backing up your device before any repair.

How We Share Information

Let Us Fix It does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers that help us run our website and business, such as our website host, our website plugins (including Gravity Forms, which stores form entries on our website), Google (email, spreadsheets, Google Analytics, and Google Ads), and our reviews widget provider. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us;
  • when necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety; and
  • in a sale or transfer of our business, as part of that transaction.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you, for example in analytics and advertising reports.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep form submissions, photos, and repair records only as long as needed to respond to your request, complete and support your repair (including any warranty period), and meet our business and legal record-keeping needs. After that, we delete them or make them non-identifiable.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Access and Choice

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing messages. To make a request, email or write to us at the address below under “Contact Us.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we are required to keep by law or for warranty records.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Let Us Fix It may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically.
